This is a really awesome resource I’m 6 months into planning my wedding and I’m am really unhappy that I settled to have the reception in St.Clair Shores. I think I just may revamp the entire thing now that I have more options to consider (shutter.) Wish me luck! and Thank You this site is WONDERFUL!!!!

Just wondering if you knew of any other Trolley companies in the Detroit Area. The only one I’ve found is Entrainment Express and I was not thrilled with their customer service.

This is a great website. I am a photographer and want to steer my clients back to Detroit. My question is do you know of anywhere that they allow you to go in and do wedding photography for free inside during the winter months? I would greatly appreciate any information you may have.

This is a wonderful resource! I love that you have some different ideas other than the standard hotel-banquet hall type stuff.

What about the Detroit River Walk or Hart Plaza? As for parks, I’m sure you can choose a couple different parks and talk to your city about using it for a nighttime ceremony.

Or, I think a backyard ceremomy would be nice! Do you have a friend with a nice yard, or who has some propertu Up North? That would be cool too!

I’ll keep thinking about free locations…

I think that hands down you have out done the top mags and informative
sites. I have not seen any site out there that tops your very detailed and to the point information.

I truly need help finding a free outdoor space to plan a small
rededication ceremony…..my hubby and I are celebrating 10years,
August 28th.

We can not afford to do anything big this year but I would like to
surprise him with a ceremony.

Any suggestions? Oh also I want to do a candle lit night ceremony in a park somewhere.
